Changes to the SDPEBA Newsletter [Last Newsletter of 2020]

Hello newsletter readers. Not sure if you noticed, but since November there’s been a slight change in terms of the pace and style of our newsletters.

That’s (partially) because of me!

My name’s Connor Sorensen, SDPEBA’s new Content Creator. I’m the guy writing all of the support articles and newsletter content you’ve come to love.

The team brought me on to help bring you more news more often, and to help make sure articles stay up to date and are intuitive to readers. That is to say, I’m here to make learning about your benefits a tad easier.

But, along with me, there are other changes coming to the SDPEBA newsletter. That’s right, we’re rebranding!

Changes to the Newsletter

Rather than a newsletter every Tuesday, we’re shifting to release an article every other Friday. We’re still workshopping the name, but essentially, we’re going to shift our schedule, so you get your news the same day you get paid.

We might come back as the Payday Post, or the SDPEBA Scoop. Who’s to say?

Not me, that’s up the marketing team. But I’ll throw my alliterative nonsense into the ring whenever they ask, after all, that’s basically all I’m good for.

Well, that and silly articles about washing your hands and injuries during the holidays.

We’re committing to provide you with the best information possible in 2021. Even though there will be slight changes, it's all to your benefit. We want the newsletter to be informative, engaging, and interesting.

We want you to leave every article knowing a bit more about something or giving you access to a benefit you might not know you had. We want this newsletter to be less incidental and more… well, interesting.

These changes come mostly because we value your time and just want to provide you with the best and most accurate information possible.

So, with that in mind, we appreciate you taking the time to read this and look forward to talking to you come January 8th, when the newsletter comes back!

Note: We will still be publishing articles to our site and our social media throughout the week, so if you want to read what we have to say when we say it, check our news portal regularly. The newsletter will simply be where we collect and collate all the important information from the last two weeks.

Let’s make this year great! Take care!

If there are any benefits you’d like us to go over or if there’s anything going on in the city you want us to cover, check out our support page or email us at [email protected].
