We know insurance is confusing. With every benefit package there’s a dictionary’s worth of jargon to learn and sift through, tons of numbers to keep in mind, and really big choices that affect you and your family’s livelihood. 

That’s why we run a 24/7 support site, host a call center staffed by trained experts, and maintain a database of support articles to keep you informed. 

Got a Question? 

If you have any questions, we have multiple ways for you to find answers. The first, and most straightforward is to simply search our articles. By heading to support.sdpeba.org you’ll be able to search questions or look through our articles as they’re listed by benefits. 

If you can’t find your answer on our site, we have multiple ways for you to ask us directly.  

  1. Submitting a Request  

Filling out this form is one of the fastest ways to get in touch with our support staff outside of our help-center’s office hours. We’ll get in touch with you as soon as possible to answer your questions and provide you with any resources that might help.  

We also use this system to generate new support articles, meaning if you ask a question, we’ll help you find the answer and then write an article to answer that question so future SDPEBA members can find it too! So, by filling out this form, you’re helping yourself and other San Diego City/County employees! Talk about a win-win.   

2.Emailing Our Support Staff

Similar to the form, you can email any questions you have directly to our support staff by messaging us at either of our support email addresses.

3.Calling us Directly

During office hours we also have a help center call line.  

Our phone number is 888-315-8027. From there you’ll be prompted to either receive Aflac claims support by pressing 1 or general support by pressing 2. 

This line operates from 9am-5pm and is not open during the holidays or the weekend. If you call outside of our operating hours, feel free to leave us a message with your name, contact information, and a brief summary of how we can help you!
